Why are these products so special?
My father, in 1975 had a dream and it was to make products of a unique quality. (Francisco tells us)
Different products that were a reference for those people who appreciate in an article the exclusivity, its quality and that were made by hand by leather artisans of the highest excellence. We were the first in the world to manufacture briefcases for the first Motorola in 1984.
Mobile phones that weighed 15 kg and cost € 100,000 at the time. I remember the first order that the well-known brand “Motorola” made us. An order of 1,000 units per month in first quality lambskin.
Did you always make phone cases?
(Laughs) No, in those years there were no mobile phones. (1975).
My father started with fashion items and their accessories and we had a lot of success right after we started, thanks to our unique way of manufacturing and the quality of the Leather, already recognized worldwide as “Ubrique Leather”.
Currently many of our clients, in addition to buying one of our covers for their phone, add to their order other accessories that we also have, to complete their outfit. We must not forget that, in Ubrique, my town, we are manufacturers for the most recognized luxury brands worldwide (Loewe, Cartier, Dolce and Gabbana, Vuitton, Ralph Lauren ...) and the people who know it are also aware that they are going to have in your accessories such as bags, wallets, belts or card holders an equal quality, at a much lower and equally exclusive price.
Do you only manufacture mobile phone cases at the moment?
No, but we have dedicated 80% to them, since we saw a gap in the market in this regard.
Someone spends tens or thousands of euros on a mobile phone and wants to accompany it with a case that highlights it, that is pleasant to the touch and that visually enhances its identity.
The mobile phone has really become an accessory synonymous with social status depending on the model or brand. Nobody wants to spend money on a high-end or even exclusive phone (as many of our customers have) and then carry it with a rubber case or a plastic or silicone case.
In addition to taking away the beauty of the device, it affects its duration and operation for various reasons. In addition to all this, we invest a lot in I+D so that the cover is really a tailor-made suit for the model itself, made as if it were a tailor, which in addition to being a precious accessory and enhances the style of its wearer, take care and protect the device and be useful when using the mobile, as we have thought of every last detail
I do not understand how does it help to use the mobile phone?
(Laughter) Yes, of course, I'll explain.
Our covers allow you to support the phone, both vertically and horizontally, thanks to the fact that the cover and its parts adapt perfectly to be able to maintain stability while leaning on a table, for example, while you have a video call or record yourself to make a video for social networks.
This is something that our clients appreciate a lot since many of them are influences, are famous or have many followers in networks.
Is it true that your clients include presidents of the government?
I can tell you that our covers are currently worn by leading figures in the world from all sectors, from film actors to international rock stars and politicians... Many times, they ask us for exclusive models, with diamonds, gold and different types of skin.
One day (to tell you an anecdote) the F.B.I called and ordered us the president's briefcase. In addition to the satellite tracking system, we had to make room for the camera recording system and enough space to hold a cash amount of $ 1,000,000.
We did this specifically for Reagan.
They were so happy that soon we received a personal call from President Reagan himself to say hello and congratulations.
From there you can imagine that our clientele ranges from a humble person, who seeks to accompany their device with a case that honors it and be able to boast of exclusivity and quality, to the highest public in society.
Francisco Are these covers very expensive? They must be because of what you tell us, right?
I think that people not only get something unique (no two are alike in the world since they are made by hand) and that everyone will ask them where they bought their mobile phone case (or the accessory of their choice).
What prices can we be talking about?
We have models for all mobile phones and an outlet area, but from € 70 on average you can have a totally exclusive case of the highest quality.
For that price, to be able to buy something of this quality or to be able to give something unique that your loved one will touch on average 2,300 times a day and will remember you every time they do it.
Packing is also something very special and careful. The presentation of the case where the product comes from is very nice.
